Ballyvongane N.S. is a small, 2 classroom school located in the beautiful setting of Bealnamorrive. Our school is a 9 mins drive from Coachford and a 14 mins drive from Macroom. We maybe small but our vibrancy, warmth and energy is undeniable. One of greatest strengths is that all staff members know all of the students and their families and we are able to work closely with them to ensure that the pupils achieve their full potential.
At the core of our school philosophy in Ballyvongane N.S. is a commitment to provide the pupils with a broad, balanced educational experience in a safe, happy and respectful environment. We use a child-centred, inclusive approach in our teaching and learning to encourage and nurture the children to develop in confidence and become well rounded individuals with a sense of justice.
I am ever grateful for the work our teachers, parents, SNA, secretary, Board of Management, Parents Association and the wider community do to continually support the development of our school.
